It all began with a dream to raise honey bees and grow fruit and vegetables. Honey bees — wild and domestic — perform about 80 percent of all pollination worldwide. A single bee colony can pollinate 300 million flowers each day. Grains are primarily pollinated by the wind, but fruits, nuts and vegetables are pollinated by bees. Seventy out of the top 100 human food crops — which supply about 90% of the world’s nutrition — are pollinated by bees. The honeybee “worker bee” lives less than 40 days, visits at least 1000 flowers and produces less than a teaspoon of honey. What amazing little creatures they are. Thank you, honeybees!
We enjoy walking on our farm visiting the hives, our horses and working in the gardens. We were so proud of our honeybees and the delicious honey they created, so we decided to enter our honey at the 2022 Hive Life Conference in Sevierville TN. Out of many entries from all over the country, we recieved 3rd place for the black jar taste category! We are so excited about this honor and are looking forward to next years event. Learning about beeswax and candle making and there are endless ways to add delicious honey in recipes.

Unfortunately shipping is not included as why we plan on selling most of our honey at local farmers markets and festivals. You can also contact us directly if you have questions at kaapiary@gmail.com.
Thank you!
